sensei,.. I am graduating soon, and I am confused as to what to do next. I heard that in DR.VEE MANGAKA CLUB (manga school) I can study how to create manga etc. which is aligned with my hobby of drawing anime/manga. I am very interested in studying at your place so I can achieve my dream to be a professional manga/anime creator. Would that be possible? How can I register and what is your system? Are there examinations or is it a private course? I am eagerly waiting for your answer.

Hi A##,
We take on 3 kinds of students in DMC: aspiring professionals, professionals who wants to brush up on their skills, and hobbyists. The curriculum is exactly the same, but how we direct each kind is different. We are not just a private tutorial provider, but a club with holistic support system to help our members achieve his/her objective in most efficient/effective manner.
How we are different from universities and other academic institutions is that we at DMC prioritize practicality and result. Theories and history are given minimally only to enable you to grasp new concepts and current trends. We do not have internal examinations, because the real examination is manga competitions and pitching for professional publishers. What we do instead, is monitor your progress and hassle you to achieve high professional standards so you can try for those and be functional in the real world.
We believe that everyone has the potential to be successful in manga & animation. As everyone is unique, it is our job to help you find your path to achieve that.
Our members come from different backgrounds and it is an advantage for all to be able to see each other's works and hear inputs on the works during class.
Our courses are also useful as supplement for illustrators and film script writers.
